A Look Back at the Year 2022

We’re taking a brief look back at some of the key topics that will remind us of the year 2022 here at Regio.
Regio Database
The Regio database for the Baltic countries has never been as detailed and high-quality as it is now. In 2022, we invested 9,000 hours into updating and improving our data! Our goals and plans for the coming year are in place, and hopefully, a year from now we’ll be talking about new datasets that also help pedestrians navigate more effectively. Thank you to our clients, whose support helps us continually improve our database!
Regio API
We have more and more new partners and clients: our data is being used online by an increasing number of webshops and other companies who need properly formatted address data, route calculations, or points of interest.
Fieldwork in Germany

We have had the opportunity to apply the expertise of Regio’s geoinformatics specialists in the preliminary work for fiber optic cable planning. Among other things, participating in fieldwork in Germany was a refreshing experience for the Regio team. Thank you Estonian Fiber OÜ!
Regio Road Atlas of Estonia
This summer, after more than four years, a new edition of the Regio Road Atlas of Estonia was published – the 22nd edition already! While in the past the atlas was mainly used to avoid getting lost and to discover new and exciting places (our atlas includes an extensive travel guide, after all), we are now increasingly emphasizing that the atlas is a reliable backup – especially when there’s no electricity or mobile coverage, but you still need to keep driving. Even the “Be Ready” crisis app recommends having an atlas in every car.

Gazelle Award
Äripäev took notice of our work, and Regio made it into the Gazelle TOP:
“What an amazing achievement! You’ve made it into the top 1% of the fastest-growing companies in Estonia! Your company’s growth rate, business agility, and boldness in innovation serve as an example to many. Be proud – there are only 638 such companies in all of Estonia!”

For all of the above, we are grateful to our clients, partners, and Regio’s amazing team!
