In May, we attended the Mapping Leaders Forum in London, which brought together nearly 40 map publishers from 12 countries. The central topic of the forum was the present and future of map publishing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mapmakers agreed that, although the overall production of paper maps has decreased, purpose-specific maps \u2013 for example, for hiking \u2013 remain very popular and highly valued.<\/p>\n\n\n

Folded Map Estonian Hiking and Health Trails<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, the folded map \u201cEstonian hiking and health trails\u201d was published, featuring 318 hiking trails and 137 health trails, as well as RMK long-distance trails, the Coastal Trail, the Forest Trail, and the Pilgrimage Route. The foldout is printed on water- and tear-resistant material, so you don\u2019t have to worry about it ripping before you\u2019ve explored all the trails. All RMK hiking trails have also been added to the Garmin Regio Estonia Topo map.<\/p>\n\n\n
