Here's more detailed information: Generalkarte des Baltenlandes (Estland, Kurland, Livland), 1:725.000. Publisher: Carl Flemming AG, Glogau - Berlin, [1917] Edited by Kettler, J. I. The map displays the Baltic provinces according to administrative subdivision of the Russian Empire before 1917. In addition to the Baltic provinces, the map displays Eastern part of Ostpreußen, including Memeler-Land, i. e. it covers modern hundred per cent of modern territories of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Geographical names are given in German for all populated spots and geographical objects. Detailed administrative subdivision, railways, no roads. Elevations shown in shading, no hypsographical marks. Edited by Professor Julius Iwan Kettler (1852-1921) from Weimar, who had been cooperating with Flemming's publishers for several editions. The map has no date mark. According to artwork and dating worked out by well-known Dutch researcher M. Witkam (http://www.atlassen.info), the map belongs to so called 4th generation [about 1920 - 1932] of 'Flemmings Generalkarten' being a collective name for several series of maps published by the Carl Flemming publishing company in Glogau, and by its successors: Flemming-Wiskott (Berlin) and Georg Westermann (Brunswick). However, printed fact of participation of J. I. Kettler, just Flemming's (not Flemming-Wiskott) logo at the lower right edge, railway network configuration and administartive boundaries lead to dating this issue as being drawn between 1916 and 1918. The Flemming's company was founded about 1840 and in 1932 the company went bankrupt. The map program was then adopted by the Georg Westermann publishing house in Brunswick. Glogau is situated in Poland today; its name is now Glogów. Karte von Liv-Est-Kurland, 1:750.000. Publisher: N. Kymmel - Riga, 1898 (4th edition) Edited by Dr. Henry Lange Lithographed by the Royal Lithographic Institute of W. Greve in Berlin. Longitudes from Pulkovo. The map displays the Baltic provinces according to administrative subdivision of the Russian Empire before 1917 and adjacent territories of the Czardom of Poland and eastern neighboring Russian provinces. It covers modern hundred per cent of modern territories of Estonia and Latvia; modern Lithuanian lands are shown without southern and southwestern parts. Inner administrative subdivision of three provinces is shown with special symbol. Additional linear symbol displays a conventional boundary between residential areas of Estonian- and Latvian-native speakers. Geographical names are given in German for all populated spots and geographical objects in three provinces. The 'Polish' part of modern Lithuania is named in old Polish language (German transcription). Detailed administrative subdivision, railways, maritime passenger lines, surface roads (with classification to 4 classes). Elevations shown in shading, no hypsographical marks. Additional symbols show castles, churches, factories, etc. Detailed display of areas covered with forests and marshes. The map was published and, probably, distributed by well-known publisher and bookseller N. G. Kymmel in Riga. The basic cartography belongs to Henry Lange (1821-1893); as the railway network is shown actual to later year, it should be considered that the map originals had been reworked (updated) by unknown cartographers, probably working at the printery. Printing originals' preparation and printing itself had been processed by Wilhelm Greve's lithographic factory in Berlin, which had been dealing with maps, albums and postcards
